Meet Irene Gabler
Irene Gabler founded Novae Consulting after nearly three decades leading global engineering and product development organizations at SLB. Throughout her career, she oversaw the complete lifecycle of complex intelligent hardware from initial design and manufacturing through reliability optimization and sustainability-focused innovation. Her leadership experience spans managing large multinational, multidisciplinary technical teams; directing product development for mission-critical systems and developing and implementing corporate-level strategy, initially focused on reliability and subsequently on sustainability and low-carbon solutions for customers.
Irene has led the development of advanced mechatronics, high-fidelity sensing arrays, and autonomous robotic systems engineered for the world's most extreme environments. Her technical expertise encompasses distributed sensor networks, real-time edge telemetry, integrated data acquisition platforms, and fleet-wide reliability management for mission-critical assets where failure results in massive operational downtime.She holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and began her career as a design engineer, bringing a deep technical foundation to her strategic advisory work.
Through Novae Consulting, Irene applies this background with corporate strategy development experience to help leaders bring clarity to complex strategic challenges without unnecessary complexity. She believes the most effective strategies come from within the organization and focuses on drawing out the expertise of the teams she works with.
Our
Story
Novae Consulting was founded on a simple observation, technical teams perform better when they take the time to think strategically. This is true for teams of 30 and organizations of 3,000 but very few have access to practical guidance on how to build a strategy using their own knowledge and experience.
Large consulting firms often make strategy development expensive and overly complex. They bring in large analyst teams to study data and processes that internal teams already understand, resulting in recommendations that may look good on paper but are difficult to implement. Novae Consulting was created to offer a different approach.
Instead of replacing internal expertise, Novae acts as a guide, facilitator, and advisor helping teams structure what they already know into a clear strategic roadmap they can communicate, commit to, and execute.
